"Not as expected!"

The Rainforest Adventure is not what I expected. The place is small, smelly from the animals, and with many exhibits to look at. It was indoor for the most part so it was cool. I expected to be visiting a Rain Forest however this was not. The animals you could feed did not want the feed, half the exhibits were higher than our 5 year olds could view and the show was at 1:00 only, we were there at 10:00 and ready to go by 11:00.

"Pleasantly Surprised "

Got a group in for this, and due to down mixed reviews, we were a little hesitant. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and care put into this attraction. The staff is friendly and the animals seem well cared for. The animal show, done by Jungle Jim, is informative, as well as, humorous. There is a wide variety of animals, and the "petting zoo" outside is enjoyable for small children and all others who enjoy animals. The reviews states the smell was awful, and this I wasn't looking forward to; however, it's not any worse than a zoo you've been to. When you enclose animals inside, especially reptiles, you're going to have that smell, and once inside a few minutes, you pretty much get used to it. It's definitely a place to go for kids, or if it's a rainy day, this would be a great activity, and if you have an animal lover in the family, as we do, it's defining worth the trip!

I found a groupon for $28 for 2 adult/2 kids and 2 bags of food! The staff was super nice. There were a lot of animals we'd never seen before! A friend recommended the show but we missed it! However it was still a great experience! Only negative thing was the overwhelming stinky smell as soon as you walk in. I understand because the animals are indoors, but we were a little surprised when we walked in!

We really enjoyed our visit here. The staff was friendly when we came in and Jungle Jim's show was full of animal facts and laughs. I had read reviews and saw some comments about smell and cobwebs. We didn't think it was any different then any other zoo we had been to and thought nothing of it. We added this to the list of places we wanted to visit again when we come back next year.

"Great little zoo"

Great zoo with different animals you don't see at the larger zoos. Really enjoyed seeing monkeys that you don't see in the larger zoos. Most of it was indoors which is nice in the summer. Opens earlier than most attractions in the area which is wonderful. Nice gift shop and friendly staff.
